Greetings USGenWeb Members!

candidate

I'm Linda K. Lewis, your current USGenWeb Advisory Board (AB) Representative At Large (RAL), and I'm seeking your vote for USGenWeb National Coordinator for the 2020 term.

I joined KSGenWeb in 2003, and since that time my service to the USGenweb has included the Newsletter Committee, the Election Committee, USGenWeb Webmaster, SWSC CC representative 2009 - 2019 and Representative At Large.

As a Board representative it is our responsibility to address issues as they arise so the States can develop their sites as they see fit. As your SWSC CC rep for the past decade I have tried to listen carefully to the membership. If elected, as a non-voting presiding member, it remains my goal to listen to your ideas and your concerns. All opinions matter!

I feel we have made great strides in the past few years, under Denise Wells leadership, to get our sites in order. I truly hope to facilitate the continuance of that endeavor. But my biggest goal is to help grow the USGenWeb membership as much as possible, so we may continue on in the future to provide free genealogical resources to the masses. To that end, I am open to all ideas, suggestions, and participation from all members.

And I wish to provide a heartfelt thanks to our National Webmistresses. We have been very blessed to have the extremely talented Marsha Bryant, and assistant, Norma Haas, update our National Website to make it both beautiful and mobile friendly in all our many devices. This was a major effort and helps us put our best face forward to the researching community.

As a volunteer for USGenWeb, I find the rewards to be bountiful. I've been very blessed to meet a great many of the researchers who travel to Johnson County, KS, to visit ancestor graves and other meaningful locations, and see how our work has touched their lives.

I hope you will vote for me during this election, but most of all, please keep up the great work you are doing on your individual sites. YOU are what makes this a great resource for all! KUDOS to each and every one of you. I support an applaud you all. Keep up the great work!

Sincerely,

Linda K. Lewis
