She was a cousin to my Mother who met her only once in Van Buren Co., Iowa when the Haas stopped by on their way to Olathe, KS. I am hoping to link up with someone in Ora Haas family in hopes that they may have some information of Jacob Peter and Ann Atkinson Randolph my Great Grandparents. I have several names of Ann and Jacob's children, but don't know which one is a parent to Ora Haas. This hospital was used by unwed mothers to place their children for adoption. The birth mother was born in 1920. William was the 3rd child born to this unwed mother. He has two siblings that have not been located. Birth mother was 5 ft. tall weighed abt. 120lb. with brown hair & eyes. She was of Irish extraction and Catholic faith. We believe that she lived in Oklahoma City at the time and went to Kansas for the births, and came back to her parents after the births. We believe that she she had a boy born 1938-1939 and another boy in 19449-1945 which she gave away through this hospital The mothers last name was Wren but each of the children had different fathers. We are trying to locate these two brothers Records are locked up by the courts even though all adults are deceased. Any help in locating Williams brothers would be appreciated. If you would born at Fairmount hospital during these years please contact us Three of the five children have been united and we would like to make this family complete. Please Help. |
