Obituary
Miss Samantha Coulter, who had made her home with her brother-in-law, J.F. Hastings, for many years, died at his home Monday morning, Jan. 20, at 12:10 a.m. of old age. Miss Coulter was born in Richland county, Ohio, November 15, 1828, and was 79 years, 2 months and 5 days old. The deceased was a half sister to Mr. Hastings' first wife and was a lady who was highly respected by all who knew her. The funeral services were held at the Methodist church, of which she was a member, Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock, conducted by Rev. B.F. Dice. The remains were intered in Edgerton cemetery. The bereaved relatives have the sympathy of the entire community in their sorrow.
